it is essential to care for the hair extensions correctly

We want to ensure that your extensions look fresh and stay in good condition for as long as possible and prevent any damage to your natural hair.

01

Don’t wash your hair for 24h after the procedure

02

Keep head upright when washing hair

03

Gently comb conditioner through hair then rinse

04

Don’t apply conditioner or hair masks on the hair roots

05

Every 10 days leave on your conditioner or hair mask on for 15-20 minutes then rinse. This will help keep your hair soft, nourished and hydrated

06

Use the recommended shampoo and conditioners

07

Loosely tie or plait hair at night when sleeping. Never go to bed with wet hair

08

Always use a heat protector when blow-drying or heat-styling hair and avoid the bonds

09

Where possible avoid using hair straighteners – these will damage the hair and rapidly shorten the lifespan of your hair extensions

10

Avoid serums and oils (such as Moroccan oil) on the root. These should only be applied to mid-lengths and ends. Oil on the bond can cause your bonds to slip

11

Every 10 days leave on your conditioner or hair mask on for 15-20 minutes then rinse. This will help keep your hair soft, nourished, and hydrated

12

When visiting the hairdresser for a blow-dry, advise the stylist to take extra care not to cause too much tension or to elevate the hair near the bonding area

13

Ensure you keep to the date of removal. After this point the bonds start to grow down the hair, become noticeable and can damage the natural hair

14

Always make sure you rinse your scalp properly when you shampoo your hair whilst wearing hair extensions. With all the extra hair you have you need to scrub in between the bonds and rinse well. A build-up of shampoo can cause severe scalp irritations

15

Brush extensions from root to tip with our special Golden or Silver Boar Bristle hair extension brush or a “Super Brush“ for curly hair.

Extensions can take a while to get used to depending on each client.
It is important to let them settle. This usually takes couple of days.
